Job Role and Responsibilities

Website Management

  • Maintain E-commerce Platform: Oversee the day-to-day operations of Company online store, ensuring the website is functional, user-friendly, and optimized for conversions.
  • Content Management: Update product listings, descriptions, and images on the website to reflect accurate inventory and pricing information.
  • Product Merchandising: Coordinate with the marketing team to create compelling product displays and promotions to drive sales.

Order Fulfilment and Logistics

  • Order Processing: Process online orders promptly and accurately, ensuring timely fulfilment and shipment to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with the warehouse team to replenish stock, and implement inventory optimization strategies.
  • Shipping Coordination: Liaise with shipping partners to arrange pickups, track shipments, and resolve any delivery issues.

Customer Experience Enhancement

  • Customer Support: Provide prompt and courteous customer support via email, live chat, or phone to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from customers regarding their online shopping experience and product satisfaction, and relay insights to the marketing and product teams.

Digital Marketing Support

  • Promotion Implementation: Assist in implementing online promotions, discounts, and marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
  • SEO and SEM Optimization: Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize website content for search engines (SEO) and support search engine marketing (SEM) initiatives.
  • Email Marketing Coordination: Coordinate email marketing efforts, including drafting newsletters, segmenting customer lists, and analysing campaign
    performance.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, conversion rates, and average order value to measure the effectiveness of e-commerce strategies.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse customer behaviour, sales trends, and website performance data to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Report Generation: Prepare regular reports and dashboards summarizing ecommerce metrics and insights for stakeholders.

Technology Integration and Maintenance

  • Platform Updates: Stay informed about updates and new features of the ecommerce platform, and implement enhancements to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Third-party Integration: Coordinate with IT and third-party vendors to integrate additional software or tools (e.g., payment gateways, analytics tools) with the ecommerce platform.

Compliance and Security

  • Data Protection: Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and implement security measures to protect customer information and payment data.
  • Legal Compliance: Stay abreast of e-commerce regulations and standards, and ensure the online store meets legal requirements for online transactions.

Strategic Planning and Innovation

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to streamline e-commerce operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Innovation: Stay updated on e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices, and propose innovative solutions to drive growth and improve the online shopping experience.
