Job Role and Responsibilities

Brand Strategy and Management

  • Develop and Implement Brand Strategy: Create and execute comprehensive brand strategies that align with the company’s vision and goals, ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand message across all platforms.
  • Brand Positioning: Position the brand in the market to highlight its premium nature, unique selling propositions (USPs), and distinctiveness from competitors.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure brand guidelines are followed across all marketing materials and channels to maintain a strong and consistent brand identity.

Marketing Campaigns

  • Campaign Planning and Execution: Plan, develop, and execute integrated marketing campaigns to promote products, including seasonal promotions,
    product launches, and special events.
  • Multi-Channel Marketing: Manage marketing campaigns across various channels such as social media, email, print, digital advertising, and in-store promotions.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to ensure objectives are met.

Digital Marketing and E-commerce

  • Digital Strategy Development: Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to increase online visibility and drive traffic to the company’s website and e-commerce platform.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee the company’s social media presence, creating engaging content, and interacting with the online community.
  • SEO and SEM: Optimize website content for search engines (SEO) and manage search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns to enhance online visibility.
  • E-commerce Management: Enhance the online shopping experience, manage product listings, and develop strategies to boost online sales.

Market Research and Analysis

  • Market Trends and Insights: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive activities.
  • Customer Insights: Gather and analyse customer feedback and data to understand customer preferences and improve marketing strategies.
  • Performance Analysis: Use data analytics to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions.

Advertising and Media Relations

  • Advertising Strategy: Develop and manage advertising campaigns across various media, including print, online, and broadcast.
  • Media Planning and Buying: Plan and purchase media space, negotiate rates, and ensure effective placement of advertisements.
  • Public Relations: Manage media relations, including press releases, media kits, and handling inquiries from the press.

Product Development and Launches

  • New Product Launches: Collaborate with product development teams to plan and execute successful product launches.
  • Product Positioning: Develop product positioning strategies that highlight unique features and benefits to target audiences.

Budget Management

  • Budget Planning: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to various marketing activities.
  • Cost Control: Monitor expenses and ensure marketing initiatives stay within budget.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Sales, Product Development, and Customer Service to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.

Event Management

  • Event Planning: Organize and manage promotional events, trade shows, and brand activations to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Partnerships and Sponsorships: Identify and manage partnerships and sponsorships that align with the brand’s image and marketing goals.

Innovation and Creativity

  • Creative Campaigns: Develop innovative marketing campaigns that capture the attention of target audiences and differentiate the brand in the marketplace.
  • Trendspotting: Stay updated on emerging marketing trends and technologies to continuously improve and innovate marketing strategies.
