Job Purpose :-

  • Resource is responsible to develop services/applications in JavaScript, React JS, SQL Server Technologies. Resource should have sound Knowledge of GIS and should have Spatial thinking.
  • Strong knowledge of Geolocation, Traffic & Map route, Map projection system. Resource should have capabilities to understand Business and System requirements and develop applications/services in Java technologies.

Principal Responsibilities :-

  • Analysis of System Requirements
  • Should be able to manage and develop portal (Web or Mobile app)
  • Technical Design and Development in JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, ReactJs, NodeJS, jQuery, REST API and Oracle/SQL server technologies
  • Gap analysis between the existing solution and proposed change
  • To prepare module project plans and manage documentation, develop any necessary procedures required to support the proposed IT solution as per Quality Standards.
  • Develop, Test, Deploy and Maintain Applications
  • Review the coding done by outsourced partners
  • Perform Unit Testing, SIT and provide support for Performance Testing & UAT
  • Provide production support.
  • Prepare Project documentation.
  • Conform to IT processes.
  • Main Working Area – Inside Office only, Within Free Zone / Dubai

  • The job holder will be required to develop services/applications using Java Script. The job holder will have to analyse system requirements and prepare the technical design and develop application services.
  • The Job holder will have to analyse integration requirements between various systems and design and develop interfaces using an Spring Boot.
  • He/she will also be required to follow health, safety, security and quality procedures of DP World in his work procedure

Job Specification :-

  • Education / Qualifications / Professional Training (minimum qualifications required to perform the Job)
  • Essential- ~Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Management with 5 to 7+ years of experience in Java Script (React JS) , Database (Oracle/SQL Server)
  • Desirable- GIS Professional & Google Map API expert
  • Work Experience (No: of Years and areas of expertise required for the Job):
  • Having strong Object-Oriented Programming Concepts and design skills, Knowledge of GIS and should have Spatial thinking.
  • Strong knowledge of Geolocation, Traffic & Map route, Map projection system
  • Expertise in JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, ReactJs, NodeJS, jQuery, REST API
  • Able to manage GitHub project repository
  • Should have in-depth technical knowledge and experience on Google Map APIs
  • Should have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the ins and outs of the API management platform to apply security policies, traffic management, and other protocols that support the scaling as per APIs per standards.

  • Application Programming – The ability to code and test modules that meet the design specifications in Map API Technologies as mentioned below –
    Primary in JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, ReactJs, NodeJS, jQuery, REST API Google Map APIs

  • Writing SQL queries and creating DB objects in Relational Databases like Oracle, SQL Server. Analyzing PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions and DB triggers. Development of micro-services, container management platform.
