Job Description
5 – 7 proven experiences in developing and managing Business Continuity Management
Develop and Implement Business Continuity Plans (BCPs):
- Create, maintain, and update comprehensive BCPs that outline procedures for various disruptive scenarios, ensuring alignment with CLIENT objectives and regulatory requirements.
Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA):
- Perform BIA to assess and prioritize potential impacts of disruptions on critical business functions, processes, and assets.
- Identify dependencies, interdependencies, and critical timelines to support informed decision-making in BCP development.
- Identify the needed resources.
Risk Assessment and Management:
- Identify potential threats and vulnerabilities through risk assessments.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks to business operations identified through BIA and risk assessments.
Training and Preparedness:
- Educate and train employees on business continuity policies, procedures, and their roles during disruptions.
- Coordinate and conduct drills and exercises to test BCP effectiveness and enhance organizational readiness.
Incident Response and Crisis Management:
- Coordinate response efforts during emergencies, crisis or disruptions.
- Implement and oversee BCP activation and recovery processes as per established protocols.
Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor changes in the organizational environment and update BCPs and BIAs accordingly.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to business continuity and disaster recovery.
- Prepare and present reports on business continuity metrics, preparedness levels, and incident response effectiveness.
Skills:
- Risk Management: Experience in performing BIA to assess and prioritize impacts of disruptions on critical business functions.
- Crisis Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks to business operations.
- Communication: Proficiency in developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive BCPs based on BIA findings.
- Analytical Thinking: Experience in coordinating and managing responses to emergencies and disruptions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with employees during incidents and reporting.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to evaluate scenarios, assess impacts, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines.
- Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly.
- Bachelor’s degree in business Continuity, Crisis Management or relevant degree
