Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Calibration Department In-Charge to lead and manage all calibration activities, ensure compliance with applicable standards, and oversee workshop operations. The role involves team leadership, technical supervision, document control, and close coordination with office, procurement, and management teams to ensure efficient and high-quality calibration services.

Key Responsibilities
1. Documentation Inspection, Verification & Control

  • Inspect, verify, and control all calibration-related job documents.
  • Ensure full compliance with company procedures, quality systems, and applicable standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for inspections, verifications, approvals, and audits.

2. Calibration – Technical Leadership

  • Act as the technical and operational in-charge for all calibration activities.
  • Plan, schedule, execute, and monitor calibration jobs in line with standards and client requirements.
  • Supervise and guide the calibration team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Ensure calibration work complies with relevant international and customer-specific standards.

3. Office & Procurement Support

  • Provide technical support to the office and procurement teams for sourcing spare parts and consumables.
  • Assist in identifying, evaluating, and developing new vendors and service providers.
  • Support quotation preparation for calibration jobs by providing technical inputs when required
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of spares, tools, and services.

4. Workshop Maintenance & Control

  • Oversee day-to-day workshop operations and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure proper functioning, safety, calibration, and upkeep of tools, equipment, and instruments.
  • Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities within the workshop.

5. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the calibration team.
  • Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.
  • Act as a key coordination point between management, office staff, and technical teams.
