Job Summary
The Commercial & Procurement Analyst will be responsible for managing procurement activities, supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and commercial contract administration. The role involves supporting strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing vendor performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and commercial standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end procurement activities, including vendor sourcing, quotation analysis, negotiation, and purchase order management.
- Analyze commercial terms, contract risks, and pricing structures to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance.
- Support tendering processes, prepare bid evaluations, and assist in contract award recommendations.
- Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and service excellence.
- Review and manage supplier contracts, amendments, and renewals in coordination with legal and finance teams.
- Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supplier performance to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with project teams to forecast material and service requirements.
- Assist in developing procurement policies, templates, and reporting tools for commercial governance.
- Track and report procurement KPIs, cost savings, and contract utilization performance
- Maintain accurate records of procurement and commercial documentation for audits and internal reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial and procurement roles.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier evaluation
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / MS Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations, cost modeling, and financial analysis preferred.
