Job Summary

The Contract Officer will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and administering contracts related to projects, procurement, and services. The role ensures compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and contractual terms while supporting project and procurement teams in achieving commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and manage various types of contracts including vendor, subcontractor, and service agreements.
  • Support tendering processes by preparing bid documents, evaluating offers, and coordinating contract negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and applicable UAE regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all contract-related documentation and correspondence.
  • Coordinate with procurement, finance, and legal departments for approvals and execution of contracts
  • Monitor contract performance, deliverables, and timelines to ensure adherence to agreed terms.
  • Manage contract amendments, renewals, and terminations in coordination with relevant stakeholders
  • Assist in resolving contractual disputes and identifying potential risks or issues.
  • Prepare periodic reports on contract status, compliance, and performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in contract administration or commercial management.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, tendering procedures, and procurement practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle preferred).
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Experience working in project-based industries (construction, oil & gas, facilities management, or government projects) is an advantage.
