Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA with strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) administration, RAC, ASM, OCI, and cloning activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of Oracle applications and databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and administer Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments.
- Perform database administration tasks including backups, restores, patches, upgrades, and migrations.
- Manage Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Administer Automatic Storage Management (ASM) for database storage structures
- Execute cloning of EBS instances for development, testing, and production purposes.
- Work with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for database deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
- Monitor database performance and apply tuning techniques as needed.
- Manage concurrent managers, workflow, and application services in EBS environments.
- Ensure high availability, security, and reliability of Oracle databases and applications.
- Follow IT policies, documentation standards, and change management procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Apps DBA.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 architecture and components.
- Expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) environments
- Strong understanding of cloning, patching, and upgrade procedures.
- Good troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.
- Experience in Linux/Unix environments
- Ability to work independently and handle critical production environments.
