Position Overview
The PR Executive will be responsible for managing and strengthening Speedex Group’s public image through effective media relations, corporate communications, and brand reputation management. This role focuses on enhancing long-term brand credibility and visibility across traditional, digital, and social media platforms, supporting all business verticals within the Group.
Key Responsibility Areas
Media & Public Relations
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with media professionals, journalists, and PR agencies.
- Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media briefs, and corporate announcements.
- Coordinate interviews, media visits, press conferences, and brand-led events.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare regular PR performance and visibility reports.
Corporate Communications
- Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all external communications.
- Prepare corporate profiles, fact sheets, key messages, talking points, and Q&A documents.
- Support senior leadership with speeches, statements, and public-facing communications.
- Coordinate internal communications related to company achievements, CSR initiatives, and key milestones.
Brand & Reputation Management
- Track brand mentions and manage public perception across media and digital platforms.
- Support crisis communication planning and execution when required.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and appropriate responses to media or public inquiries.
Digital & Event Support
- Coordinate with digital marketing teams on PR-driven content and campaigns.
- Support corporate social media messaging from a PR and reputation perspective.
- Identify and develop storytelling opportunities aligned with business objectives.
- Support PR activities for product launches, corporate events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
- Coordinate with vendors, agencies, and internal stakeholders for PR initiatives.
Job Requirements & Desired Skill Set
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications (in-house or agency).
- Proven experience managing media relations and press communications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with digital media platforms and social media channels is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
