Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to establish and manage planning activities for a building construction projects. The role will focus on developing the project baseline programme from the initial stage and monitoring project progress against approved schedules.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop a detailed Baseline Programme for building construction projects.
• Establish project planning and scheduling activities from project commencement.
• Prepare detailed work schedules, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Monitor project progress against the approved baseline programme.
• Identify delays, critical activities, and potential schedule risks.
• Coordinate with project teams to collect progress updates and ensure timely reporting.
• Prepare progress reports and schedule updates for management.
• Support recovery planning and corrective actions where required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of Strong experience as a Planning Engineer in building construction projects.
• UAE Experience in construction is mandatory
• Proven hands-on experience in preparing and developing Baseline Programmes from project start-up.
• Strong knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project – Preferred
