1. Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer / Senior Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, API Testing, Airline Reservation/Booking Systems, Chatbot Testing, and Generative AI/LLM Testing.
The ideal candidate should currently be working in a hands-on automation testing role and have proven experience designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks across web applications, APIs, conversational AI platforms, and airline booking systems.
The candidate will contribute to high-quality software delivery by developing robust automation solutions, validating complex integrations, and testing AI-powered applications for accuracy, reliability, safety, and performance.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Automation Testing
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Create reusable and scalable automation scripts for web applications.
- Develop and maintain regression automation suites.
- Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test execution results and prepare detailed defect reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, framework efficiency, and QA processes.
B. API Testing
- Design and execute API test cases using REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent tools.
- Validate API functionality, integration points, security, and performance.
- Automate API testing and incorporate it into regression test suites.
- Validate JSON/XML responses and API contracts.
- Work with Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
C. Airline Booking / Reservation Domain Testing
Perform end-to-end testing of airline reservation and booking workflows, including:
- Flight Search
- Flight Availability
- Reservation / Booking
- Ticketing
- Seat Selection
- Ancillary Services
- Payment Processing
- Check-in Functionality
- Booking modifications and related workflows
- Work with airline reservation systems and booking platforms.
- Good knowledge of GDS systems is preferred.
D. Chatbot Testing
- Test conversational AI and chatbot applications.
- Validate intents, entities, conversation flows, and context retention.
- Verify chatbot responses across different user scenarios.
- Perform functional, usability, integration, and regression testing.
- Validate chatbot behavior for positive, negative, and edge-case scenarios.
E. AI / Generative AI / LLM Testing
- Test Generative AI and LLM-based applications.
- Validate response accuracy, relevance, consistency, and reliability.
- Develop test scenarios covering prompt variations, edge cases, and unexpected inputs.
- Evaluate model responses using defined quality and performance metrics.
- Perform hallucination testing and response consistency validation.
- Support responsible AI testing, including:
- Bias testing
- Toxicity testing
- Safety testing
- Responsible response validation
F. Collaboration
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, AI Engineers, and other QA teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other QA activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing processes.
- Support release readiness and quality assurance activities.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Currently working in a hands-on Automation Testing role.
- Strong experience in Java and Selenium WebDriver.

- Proven experience in the Airline Booking / Reservation domain.
- Hands-on Chatbot Testing experience.
- Hands-on AI / LLM Testing experience.
- Strong Agile / Scrum experience.
5. Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Automation Test Engineer / Senior Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Java-based automation, API automation, airline reservation systems, conversational AI, and Generative AI/LLM testing.
Candidates who have experience across automation framework development, airline/GDS platforms, chatbot validation, AI response evaluation, CI/CD, and Agile delivery environments will be highly preferred.
