Job Purpose
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for leading business analysis activities across the organization, working closely with stakeholders including IT, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Business Units.
The role focuses on gathering and analyzing requirements, conducting comprehensive gap analysis of existing back-office systems across multiple business lines (Retail Brokerage, Institutional Brokerage, Market Making/Liquidity Providing, and Asset Management), and aligning system capabilities with Al Ramz’s future strategy, product roadmap, and digital transformation initiatives.
The role also includes mentoring junior analysts and ensuring high-quality delivery of business analysis outputs.

• Indirect Reports: None (functional coordination of junior analysts)
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Analysis & Requirements Management
• Lead requirements gathering across multiple stakeholders and business units
• Analyze current back-office systems and document functional capabilities
• Develop detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
• Define Epics, User Stories, and acceptance criteria for system enhancements
2. GAP Analysis & System Evaluation
• Conduct comprehensive gap analysis between current systems and future business needs
• Identify functional, technical, and process gaps
• Recommend enhancements aligned with strategic roadmap and regulatory requirements
• Evaluate system architecture, processes, and automation opportunities
3. Back-Office Systems Expertise
• Analyze and optimize back-office operations across:
o Brokerage (Retail & Institutional)
o Market Making / Liquidity Providing
o Asset Management
• Assess system configurations, workflows, and integrations
• Ensure alignment with trading systems and operational processes
4. Data Analysis & Governance
• Evaluate data structures and flows within back-office systems
• Propose improvements aligned with enterprise data governance standards
• Perform data analysis and validation to support business decisions
5. Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
• Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors
• Facilitate workshops and requirement sessions
• Translate business needs into system specifications
• Support communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
6. UAT & Implementation Support
• Support development of UAT test cases and scenarios
• Coordinate and assist in UAT execution
• Validate system outputs against business requirements
• Assist in implementation and post-go-live support
7. Continuous Improvement & Industry Awareness
• Stay updated on trends in:
o Brokerage back-office systems
o Automation and reconciliation tools
o Regulatory compliance requirements
• Recommend process and system improvements
• Promote best practices in business analysis
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in:
o Computer Science
o Computer Engineering
o Business Administration
o Economics
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in:
o Financial Services industry
o Brokerage / Investment Banking / Capital Markets
o Back-office systems implementation
• Strong experience as:
o Business Analyst
o System Analyst
