Job Purpose
Own Azure application environments, deployment automation, monitoring and operational reliability for the Chamber’s digital platforms, working with Technical Support and security teams on infrastructure, connectivity, protection and recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain development, UAT and production Azure environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Next.js, React, Node.js, .NET and Strapi applications.
- Maintain Infrastructure as Code and environment consistency.
- Implement deployment controls, approvals, rollback procedures and release traceability.
- Establish monitoring, logging, dashboards, health checks and alerts.
- Configure application identities, access controls, certificates and secrets.
- Assess application scaling, capacity and availability requirements.
- Monitor cloud expenditure and identify optimization opportunities.
- Coordinate backup and recovery requirements and validate restoration procedures.
- Maintain environment inventories, deployment guides, runbooks and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of cloud/DevOps experience, including 3+ years operating Azure production applications.
- Strong experience with Azure App Service, Functions, Storage/Blob, Key Vault, Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
- API Management and Service Bus experience preferred.
- Strong Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions experience.
- Experience with Terraform or Bicep.
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting Node.js, Next.js, .NET and headless CMS applications.
- Practical Docker experience; Kubernetes preferred.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash or Python.
- Knowledge of Entra ID, managed identities, RBAC, DNS, TLS, private endpoints and application connectivity.
- SQL Server and PostgreSQL deployment/connectivity experience.
- Strong incident diagnosis, RCA, monitoring and recovery-testing experience.
- Microsoft Azure Administrator or DevOps Engineer certification preferred.
