JOB PURPOSE
The Senior & Strong SAP Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering end-to-end SAP technical solutions using ABAP, SAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model), OData Services, and CDS Views within the Government SAP landscape. The role supports SAP S/4HANA and related digital transformation initiatives. This includes developing backend business logic, custom reports, enhancements, interfaces, forms, workflows, and integration services; optimizing system performance; ensuring secure and scalable development aligned with clean core principles; and delivering high-quality code in accordance with SAP best practices. The developer will work closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions while ensuring compliance with Government IT governance, cybersecurity, and quality standards. The role requires the ability to deliver complex ABAP development objects with consistently fast turnaround, including enhancements, custom programs, interfaces, forms, workflows, OData services, CDS-based data models, and RAP-based applications. A minimum of 10–15 years of hands-on SAP technical development experience is required, with strong expertise in ABAP development for SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, and enhance SAP technical solutions using ABAP, OOABAP, CDS Views, BOPF and SAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) in SAP S/4HANA.
• Develop custom programs, reports, classes, function modules, and reusable technical components.
• Create and maintain enhancements including BADIs, user exits, enhancement spots, and implicit/explicit enhancements.
• Develop and maintain SAP OData Services (V2 and V4) and related backend logic for application and API enablement.
• Design and optimize CDS Views, associations, annotations, and data models for transactional and analytical requirements.
• Develop interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, proxy objects, and SOAP/REST web services.
• Develop and maintain Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and SAP Script for business documents and outputs.
• Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and technical issue resolution across custom and standard SAP objects.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Educational Qualification : Bachelors / master’s in computer applications
• Experience : 10–15 years of hands-on SAP technical development experience in SAP S/4HANA, with strong expertise in ABAP, SAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model), OData Services, CDS Views, and BOPF. Proven experience in developing custom programs, enhancements, interfaces, forms, workflows, and RAP-based applications, with the ability to deliver complex technical solutions with consistently fast turnaround.
