JOB PURPOSE
The Senior & Strong SAP Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering end-to-end SAP technical solutions using SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) within the SAP landscape. The role supports SAP S/4HANA and related digital transformation initiatives. This includes designing and developing responsive SAP Fiori applications, SAPUI5 front-end components, cloud-native extensions on SAP BTP, application services using CAP, and integration solutions; optimizing application performance; ensuring secure and scalable development aligned with clean core principles; and delivering high-quality solutions in accordance with SAP best practices.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, and enhance SAP Fiori applications and SAPUI5 solutions for SAP S/4HANA and enterprise business processes.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and XML views.
• Build custom Fiori applications, extensions, and adaptations using SAP Business Application Studio and SAP Web IDE.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications and extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Design and develop applications using SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
• Configure and maintain SAP BTP services including Cloud Foundry, Destination Service, Connectivity Service, and XSUAA.
• Integrate Fiori and BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA and external systems through APIs and integration services.
• Extend standard SAP Fiori applications using adaptation projects, controller extensions, and custom plugins.
• Develop reusable UI components, custom controls, fragments, and libraries to accelerate application delivery.
• Optimize application performance, loading times, and responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Implement role-based access control, authentication, and authorization in accordance with secure coding standards.
• Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and technical issue resolution for SAPUI5, Fiori, and BTP applications.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to ensure high-quality and defect-free deliverables.
• Prepare technical specifications, effort estimates, and development documentation in accordance with SAP standards.
• Ensure all developments follow clean core principles, SAP best practices, and organizational cybersecurity and governance standards.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to translate requirements into intuitive and scalable technical solutions.
• Support application deployment, transport management, version control, and post-production troubleshooting.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Educational
• Qualification : Bachelors / master’s in computer applications
• Experience : 10–15 years of hands-on SAP technical development experience in SAP S/4HANA, with strong expertise in SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model). Proven experience in developing custom Fiori applications, SAPUI5 enhancements, cloud-native extensions, integration solutions, and CAP-based applications, with the ability to deliver complex front-end and cloud-based technical solutions with consistently fast turnaround.
