Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage warehouse operations and inventory control for construction and industrial projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
The ideal candidate should possess strong inventory management skills, attention to detail, and experience in maintaining proper stock levels, documentation, and material handling procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, equipment, and supplies against purchase orders and delivery documents.
Record all received materials accurately in the inventory management system.
Maintain optimum stock levels to support uninterrupted project operations.
Monitor inventory movement and ensure accurate stock records at all times.
Material Issuance:
Issue materials, tools, and equipment to site teams based on approved material requests.
Record all material issuance, returns, and transfers accurately.
Ensure proper authorization before releasing any materials.
Warehouse Operations:
Organize and maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
Ensure proper storage, identification, labeling, and handling of all materials.
Protect materials from damage, deterioration, or loss by following appropriate storage practices.
Maintain housekeeping standards in accordance with company HSE policies.
Stock Verification & Reporting:
Conduct routine physical stock counts and periodic inventory audits.
Investigate and report stock discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials.
Prepare inventory reports, stock movement reports, and material consumption reports.
Coordinate with management regarding inventory replenishment requirements.
Coordination:
Coordinate closely with the Procurement, Logistics, and Site teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
Follow up on pending deliveries and update stakeholders on material status.
Assist in planning warehouse space utilization and inventory optimization.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse procedures, and HSE regulations.
Maintain proper documentation for all inventory transactions.
Report any safety hazards, damaged goods, or inventory issues promptly.
Educational Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Diploma in Store Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field will be an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or Inventory Controller.
Experience in construction, engineering, industrial, or oil & gas projects is preferred.
