Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions. The role will focus on Azure architecture, migration, security, networking, DevSecOps, disaster recovery, observability, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Azure cloud architecture using Cloud Adoption Framework and Landing Zones.
- Design Azure networking including VNet, ExpressRoute, Private Endpoints, and API Management.
- Architect solutions using Entra ID, AKS, App Service, and Azure Functions.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep.
- Design and support DevSecOps pipelines.
- Develop security and compliance architecture including encryption and key management.
- Design migration strategies for on-premises and Oracle workloads.
- Design HA/DR and business continuity solutions.
- Implement observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel.
- Drive FinOps, cost optimization, and Well-Architected reviews.
- Ensure consideration of UAE Central Bank and data-residency requirements where applicable.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture / Azure.
- Strong hands-on Azure architecture experience.
- Expertise in Azure networking, security, identity, compute, and integration services.
- Experience with Terraform or Bicep and DevSecOps.
- Strong experience in cloud migration, HA/DR, and business continuity.
- Knowledge of Azure monitoring and security services.
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) certification is required/preferred as the baseline certification.
