Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator / Logistics Officer to manage and coordinate logistics operations for construction and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with shipment procedures, transportation coordination, and logistics documentation.
The role involves planning and monitoring the movement of materials, equipment, and personnel while ensuring timely deliveries, cost optimization, and compliance with company HSE standards and transportation regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Planning & Coordination
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the transportation of materials, equipment, and personnel to project sites.
• Coordinate deliveries to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of project materials.
• Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, freight providers, and site teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Schedule transportation activities to optimize delivery timelines and operational efficiency.
Shipment Management
• Handle and coordinate shipment requirements and documentation.
• Track inbound and outbound shipments and proactively resolve transportation or delivery-related issues.
• Ensure materials are delivered safely and on schedule.
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain accurate logistics records, delivery notes, transport documentation, and shipment reports.
• Prepare regular logistics status reports and update management on shipment progress.
• Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and project requirements.
Inventory & Cost Control
• Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure material availability.
• Monitor logistics costs and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist in optimizing transportation routes and schedules to reduce costs.
Compliance & Safety
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, transportation regulations, and ADNOC logistics requirements.
• Maintain proper handling and transportation procedures for project materials.
• Report any logistics-related risks, delays, or non-compliance issues promptly.
Educational Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in logistics coordination or transportation.
• Experience handling shipments is mandatory.
• Experience in construction, engineering, oil & gas, or industrial projects is preferred.
